Narawang Wetland

Narawang is an artificial freshwater wetland located within Sydney Olympic Park. It is a very important area because it is rich in birdlife and the primary habitat of the endangered Green and Golden Bell Frog.

Narawang has not always been considered an environmentally important area. It was used as a dumping ground for local industry for many years but remediation works have ensured that it plays a crucial role in the local environment.
