Flora and fauna
Narawang is home to a variety of species including a number of endangered and vulnerable species such as the endangered Green and Golden Bell Frog. A number of migratory birds including the vulnerable Australasian Bittern also use Narawang as a temporary habitat. In Narawang and nearby areas, vulnerable and endangered plant species are found such as coastal saltmarsh, swamp oak, grey and river mangrove.
